Getting back on track
If you read this blog you probably know already that I used to do classic freelance work as a software developer, then built an agency and now go back to classic freelance work because I feel more passionate about my work if I am the one in charge of it. During my first year of freelance I didnt know what I was doing. I focused on paperwork and finding clients. It was an experience but I had no real fun doing it. I had fun when I was working for clients. Getting to know them, seeing their vision and helping them achieve it. I learned a lot in that time about me and the hows and whens of software development as a freelancer. It was fun and I wanted other to have that fun too. For this reason I created an agency. But boy oh boy was that a mistake. A mistake that took me around 5 years of my life where I started to feel miserable more from day to day. But this was the past and I am looking forward to get back on track now. Starting soon(tm) I will post on various social media sites again. Probably focusing on Instgram first, as it was my platform of choice when I first started out and I had decent success with it. Most people who cross-post do it in a way where they create a blog post and promote it via other channels. I never liked that approach and will do it differently. I dont plan on promoting my blog. Maybe only if I write something here that I want to be really out there. The current plan is to post interesting things I try out or test or play around with on Instagram and here we keep the easy language more of a braindump style blog posts.
So if you come across this post and are curious. Just check if I posted already on Instagram and if I didnt shoot me a message asking me why :D
